During conversations with fellow IUPUI Health Informatics students, I always try to throw in a plug for taking a programming class as an elective. It seems we can’t hide from software any more. Cable networks, cell phones, and even the cash register at the grocery utilize some sort of software. Companies like Amazon and Walmart can’t exist without software.
