This is a question that popped into my head the last couple of days. I tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.
When I got my heart transplant, I was told that COVID was a death sentence for me due to my immunodeficiency.
That was before 5 vaccine/booster shots and the antibodies shot I got yesterday.
I think I may be running out of lives. I did some research and found that the mortality rate was about 27% for transplant patients.
Looking at the glass being half full, I have 3 chances out of 4 to survive this. Pretty good odds given what I have seen so far.
